Chief Executive Officer
Alisa received her BS and MS degrees from Purdue University from the schools of pharmacy and engineering, respectively. She has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including roles in product development, clinical and commercial manufacturing, new product launches, supply chain management, regulatory affairs, quality assurance and strategic planning. Her past employment includes work at Eli Lilly, NNC, Cook and Baxter and performing contract services for more than 400 life sciences firms. Her industry and community interests include ISPE, PDA, AAPS, BioCrossroads, Purdue’s School of Pharmacy, IU’s School of Informatics and Kelly School of Business, Chamber of Commerce, United Way, American Heart Association, Indiana’s STEM Education Resource Network and Project Lead the Way’s Biomedical Program. She is an entrepreneur and founder of BioConvergence.
Vice President of Research & Development and Operations
Dr. Simianu holds a PhD in Chemistry from Marquette University, WI, a M.S/B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and certification from Jack Welch Management Institute. Specialized in modern product development, quality, manufacturing systems, and introduction of new technologies, she was effective in development, commercialization, and market expansion of injectable drugs. Expert in technical operations with span over clinical, manufacturing and supply of biologics, vaccines, and sterile products. Successful at building new, adaptive and integrated technical organizations, driving operational and quality improvements and establishing technical and social capabilities across global organizations.
Vice President of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs
Tom received his BS from the College of Charleston’s School of Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering and holds certifications in Biotechnology and the Business of Life Sciences from Indiana University. He has over 15 years of experience in parenteral pharmaceutical manufacturing including roles in microbiology, quality systems management, supplier quality, operations management, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. He has worked extensively in the CDMO arena, specializing in the development and manufacture of both clinical and commercial products spanning small molecules, biologics, liposomal, and lipid nanoparticle formulations. Accomplished leader who bridges the gap between business needs and the stringent compliance requirements of operating in a cGMP environment.
Associate Director of Business Development and Client Services
Alyssa received her BS in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry from Indiana University. She has over ten years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including roles in quality control, project management, and business development. She is currently the Associate Director of Business Development & Client Services at Singota providing oversight for the project management, business development, contract management, and marketing business functions and personnel. Alyssa also holds a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
