Singota Solutions, a pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization, received accreditation on April 1, 2020 for wholesale distribution supply chain of pharmaceutical products.
Bloomington, IN (April 30, 2020)- Singota Solutions has earned Drug Distributor Accreditation from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP®). This accreditation allows Singota to further assist its clients with commercial pharmaceutical products.
Singota has a 50,000 ft2 cGMP warehouse where it stores materials such as APIs, excipients, and finished products in various controlled temperature and humidity environments. In addition to materials management, Singota assists pharmaceutical companies through the clinical pipeline with services in development, testing, fill/finish, and international supply chain services. Singota specializes in robotic aseptic manufacturing for small batch injectable products into vial, syringe, and cartridge formats.
NABP’s Drug Distributor Accreditation (formerly known as Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors®, or VAWD) is a resource for industry and regulatory bodies that establishes uniform safeguards meant to protect the public health. Drug Distributor Accreditation plays a pivotal role in preventing counterfeit drugs from entering the United States drug supply and protects the public from drugs that have been contaminated, diverted, or counterfeited. “NABP congratulates Singota Solutions on achieving this important recognition,” says NABP Executive Director/Secretary Carmen A. Catizone, MS, RPh, DPh. “By earning the Drug Distributor Accreditation, they demonstrate their commitment to preventing counterfeit drugs from entering the US drug supply, and they hold a pivotal role in protecting the public health.”
This accreditation process required Singota to demonstrate compliance to a comprehensive set of regulatory standards and best practices in safely distributing prescription drugs. “We are looking forward to further supporting our clients after earning the Drug Distributor Accreditation. As a company we are proud to contribute to the industry mission of getting products to patients in a safe way,” stated John Hufnagel, Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Singota.
